Sugarqube is an egreeting service. It provides high–quality, entertaining ecards with account management tools including address book, calendar, reminders, and ‘my favorites’ and ‘card history’ files. Membership includes two additional accounts to share with friends and free extras like screensavers and downloadable calendars. Customization is intuitive. Pick a card, choose music and ‘stamps.’ Sugarqube can send out evites from your address book, but does not offer an instant R.S.V.P. option to manage the guest list.

Security

Sugarqube.com’s privacy policy states that all personal information stored in address books is protected and secure. Opt out if you don’t want emails from Sugarqube.com. SSL Certificate protects credit card information. You can mail them a money order or cashiers check if you don’t want to use a credit card.

Ease of Use:  

The site is easy to navigate, and the links and icons are arranged logically. The more complex cards feature interactive devices and games. Visual prompts are obvious, though games may require a little trial and error while navigating. 

Selection:  

Sugarqube has a card to commemorate almost anything: new pet, new car, new email address. Photo cards are available too. Some cards are interactive and a few are free. Have fun.

Tip: Mature warning on selected cards means content is too scary or contains adult (read crass) humor … not pornographic.  

Quality:  

Sugarqube's animation is the best we've seen. Watch the online video to see the process—much of the animation is rendered by hand. Many of the cards are more like cartoon shorts than the low–tech animation common on other sites. The sound is top-notch. Sugarqube designers use both music and realistic sound effects to enhance the animation. On one card, as the dog chases a cat, the barking seems to recede as the animals run away. Here music and sound effects take equal billing.  

Help/Support:  

Sugarqube offers email and mail contact methods for inquiries. Online they post a help section and a FAQs page. They responded to our email inquires within two hours on most occasions.
